A few weeks back my family and I went on a vacation that was a surprise to us all. With only a 2 day notice I was unable to clear out my eBay listings in time. I am a eBay powerseller and I usually sell at least one item per day. Our vacation was a 4 day long camping trip to maquoketa caves in Iowa so connecting to a access point there was out of the question but I brought along my EEEPC 701 anyway since it is so portable, it took up almost no room in my bag. On the trip to Iowa I was able to use eBay turbo lister program to list all my listings off line. During the trip I was able to take many pictures of all the spectacular caves we saw, and yet again my EEEPC came in handy by allowing me to view all the pictures and deciding which ones needed to be retaken all thanks to the useful SD card slot. In the middle of the vacation I was worried about my ebay sales and all the emails I usually receive. Later we went to a small convienience store to pick up some supplies and to my surprise they had a wireless access point to connect to so I quickly booted up my eeepc and used it to contact the customers that had been building up in my email. The EEEPC was hardly noticeable the whole vacation and since the battery life lasts so long I was able to do this all in one charge. In my opinion this is the perfect laptop for your travel needs.
