The Netaji Indoor stadium in Kolkatta, welcomed all, to the most awaited tech show, “Compass 2006”.This exhibition showcased the latest technology products in IT hardware by leading MNCs and local brands. It was a platform that helped cater to the technological needs of consumers, manufacturers, service providers, and traders.  
Started from 17th to 20th November 0’6, this exhibition was a great crowd puller, giving the visitors a view in the more technological world.

Asus participated in this huge event, showcasing its high profiled products and technologies. The four-day event provided a "complete platform" for Asus, where visitors would have a first-hand feel of Asus products and it’s with user–friendly features.

Asus has displayed its lifestyle products including Notebooks, Gaming PC and LCD’s also including components, Motherboards, VGA’s, ODD, Chassis and Networking products. The mor crowd puller was Asus Gaming PC, which with its unique looks and striking features captured the visitors’ attention, specially the youngsters.

A Technical quiz was conducted by Asus for the compass visitors, thus not only challenging them but also providing them with the right information.

The great achievement by Asus was that other vendors used Asus products at their stalls. Intel and Suntronic stalls displayed C2D PC with ASUS LCD, Chassis while Logitech and Supreme Stalls displayed Gaming PC with ASUS LCD.

Media was not far from being attracted by the Asus products. Local TV news channel of Kolkatta like ‘Kolkata TV’,’Tara Bangla’ and ‘Aaj Kal ’carried Asus news on 17th  November 2006.

All together , this exhibition made a clear and better understanding of Asus and it products to the end users.
