Mobile Asia Event 2008:

The Mobile Asia Event 2008 took part at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 29th Feb to 3rd March ’08.  Organized by the Indian Cellular Association (ICA), this year, the exhibition's focus was on GenNext. More than 2 lac people visited the event with more than 50,000 people visiting the ASUS stall. It gave cell phone manufacturers a unique opportunity to display their products, services and new technologies to allure the ever increasing mobile phone subscribers in India. ASUS participated in this event to spread information about the ASUS PDA range to the end users. Live demos of the various PDA models were given to the visitors during the event. The event was covered by major media like NDTV, Zee Business, Aaj Tak, News 24, IBN -7, India TV. My Mobile, New Delhi also featured a write up about ASUS’ participation in the event. Participation in this event helped ASUS to connect to the end users in terms of being an established PDA brand. Many visitors also opined that the technology and features that the ASUS PDA phones have are very unique.

The event was a success with a large number of people getting to know about the foray of ASUS in the mobile phones segment in India.
