The ESC4000 is a compact 2U rack high density server, supporting four double-slot GPU computing cards. It enables high-end professional applications, including scientific, weather and financial modeling, advanced medical research and life sciences. Its optimized CPU/CPU Linpack output reaches around 1.07Teraflops with double precision performance. Enhanced features, flexible design and versatile hardware combine in a compact energy-efficient architecture, making the ESC4000 ideal for users demanding superior yet highly efficient performance.
The ESC4000 supports two Intel® Xeon® 5600 CPUs and four double-slot graphics cards NVIDIA® Telsa™ M2050/2070 at half the space requirements to boost up extreme paralleled computing power and visual rendering output, and conserve space.
A total of eight expansion slots support up to four double-slot graphics cards and allow for great flexibility, while an added slot is dedicated to ASUS PIKE cards, enabling diverse RAID storage configurations.
The ESC4000 also includes InfiniBand™ interconnet technology, letting users link with a variety of devices at very high data transfer speeds as well as daisy-chain with other servers for powerful networking and clustering.
Intelligent controls adapt to actual load and temperatures, slowing down when the system idles or runs low-intensity applications. This ensures optimized cooling and up to 20% energy savings.
Massive 18 DIMM memory slots support up to 144GB total RAM and eight 3.5” hot-swap hard drive bays offer ample storage for non-stop operation with a huge 16TB storage capacity.
