With meticulous detail and immaculate design, the XG Station has attained the honorific of being conferred with the red dot design award honourable mention 2008. Bundled with the ASUS EN8600GT/HTDP/256M graphics card, it provides seamless integration of notebook computing with the power of PC graphics. It also features 4 USB 2.0 ports and Dolby Technology – doubling as a USB hub for true AV enjoyment.

The XG Station is the world’s first docking station with a PCI Express slot to boost graphical performances of notebooks to that of VISTA Premium standards. In laboratory tests, a XG Station with an ASUS EN8600GT VGA card was found to provide up to 12 and 6.7 times faster graphics based on the Intel 945GM and 965GM graphics chip respectively. Additionally, the XG Station accommodates future graphic upgrade possibilities for technologies such as HDCP; is equipped with a large LED information display for easy reading, and a dedicated control panel for easy adjustments through a GUI based interface. Real-time overclocking is easily achieved through the ergonomic knob – allowing you to enjoy enhanced video experiences whenever you require it.
