WM6.1 has continued WM6.0's convenience in operations, and increased the user-friendliness of commonly used functions – allowing users to more easily utilize the handphone upon first use. This new version (WM6.1) contains six main upgraded features:

2. With OneNote Mobile, users can take notes on their phones, and then synchronize the notes to the full version of Microsoft Office Mobile OneNote on a PC easily.
3. Threaded SMS Messaging allows SMS text messages to be organized by conversations into a single thread - making it easy to track past messages.
4. Contact List Improvements directly displays "restricted calls" and "system service numbers"
5. Pocket Internet Explorer provides a new Zoom function that allows full page zooming in IE – allowing users to zoom in on a webpage to view small text or images and make reading more convenient.

1. After upgrading to Windows Mobile 6.1, can I revert back to the original Windows Mobile 6.0? How do I perform an OS backup before upgrading? How do I backup my application data In Windows Mobile 6.0?
Users can download WM 6.0 from ASUS website directly and follow the same procedure to update the OS version. If you can not find WM 6.0 OS version on the website, please contact local service center/Royal club to assist in updating the OS version back to WM 6.0.

2. How will I know that my upgrade is successful?
You can check if you have successfully upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1 by pressing [Start] > [settings] > [systems] > [about].
If you can see the words "Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional", then it means that the installation was successful.

3. Can I utilize Windows Mobile 6.0 ActiveSync on Windows Mobile 6.1? Will there be any difference if my PC utilizes Vista or XP?
Vista comes with built-in WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Center), which replaces XP's ActiveSync - and provides more functions. Vista can support either WM6.0 or WM6.1 versions.
